How do I import resources into Toby?

You can bring bookmarks and saved collections into Toby from a file: an HTML bookmarks file, like the ones browsers export, or a JSON or TXT file.

Import a file

  1. Click Settings at the bottom of the left sidebar.

  2. Under your workspace's name, click Preferences.

  3. Next to Import Data, click Import.

  4. Drag your file onto the box, or click upload to pick it.

  5. Check what's about to be added, then click Import.

Imports go into your Personal Space, and each bookmarks folder becomes a collection. A JSON export of a whole Toby workspace brings its Spaces back too, as new Spaces in this workspace.

On the free Starter plan, you can't import while the workspace is at its limit of 60 saved tabs.
