Using Colour-Coding Collections in Toby

Give a collection a color to spot it at a glance. The whole collection takes on a soft tint of that color.

Coloring a collection

  1. Hover the collection and click its ··· menu, or right-click the collection.

  2. Click Colour, then pick a color. It changes right away.

There are nine choices: Default (no color), Grey, Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Teal, Blue and Purple.

Coloring a new collection

Click New Collection. While you type its name, click the color dot beside it, pick a color, then click Save.

Filtering by color

Click Filter in the toolbar, then Colour, and pick one or more colors. You see the collections in any of them; pick Default to see the ones with no color. The filter stays on, even when you switch Spaces, until you click the × on the color.
