7 years ago, Toby launched as a free Chrome extension to help you manage your tabs and access your most important resources in one click. Toby has grown from a few passionate users to over 500,000 looking to boost their productivity. We’ve worked hard over the past few years to improve the interface, bring new features and scale the infrastructure. And we are only getting started!
Today we are excited to open a new chapter and introduce two subscription plans to support Toby’s long-term future.
Introducing Productivity and Team plans
Starting July 18, 2023, we will introduce two subscription plans: Productivity & Team.
The Productivity plan will start at $4.50/month and it will focus on individuals and small teams looking to take their productivity to the next level. We have exciting new features in the works that we can’t wait to show you.
The Team plan will include all the productivity plan features as well as additional security features, priority support and unlimited growth for your team. It will start at $6/month.
We will share more details about each plan on July 18, 2023, as well as a sneak peek of our upcoming features.
What does this mean for my account?
Fear not! All the existing accounts will be turned into “Legacy accounts.” You can keep using Toby the way it is today for free. If at any point you’d like to upgrade your account, visit the billing section in your organization preferences.
While some advanced features will be exclusive to paid plans, we will regularly introduce new features and improvements to benefit all users, regardless of their subscription status, starting with mobile apps in the coming weeks. We will also continue to offer a free plan to new users.
